Obsession

this is like the most a24 non a24 movie ive ever seen. the cinematography is insane, every shot feels so beautiful without trying too hard. the acting is so so good too, you can genuinely tell this group of actors are gonna be huge what really shocked me is how low the budget was because they pulled off so much with so little. nothing felt cheap at all and the atmosphere was incredible the entire time the theatre experience made it even better. im usually not someone who gets scared watching horror movies, but this movie had me tense the whole time and even jumpscared me once. the sound design and pacing were actually stressful in the best way possible and everything just works i reallly really really liked this, definitely one of the best movies ive seen this year for sure, left me shocked after it ended.
