Pride & Prejudice

My 10th time logging this film and I still can't believe my eyes. This is such a stunning, fun and beautiful story. Here are some of my favorite moments as they come into my head: - Darcy comes into Lizzy's bedroom with such fierce resolution only to forget how to breathe as he sees her and somehow only manages to say "this is a charming house" after half a minute of awkwardness. x))) - The tracking shot and dance sequence at Netherfield, climaxing in both of them feeling as tho they were the only two people on earth. - Bingley and Darcy rehearsing the proposal kills meee - And what excellent boiled potatoes. It's been many years since I had such an exemplary vegetable. - Darcy smiling (the happiest we've seen him yet) while introducing Elizabeth to Georgiana <3 - Mr Collins fangirling over Darcy at Rosings. - Mr Bennett crying of happiness after giving Lizzy his blessing. - You must know... surely, you must know it was all for you. - The opening tracking shot. - The soundtrack!!! - Lizzy rejecting Darcy under the rain, that whole scene my god - Your mother will never see you again if you do not marry Mr. Collins... and I will never see you again if you do. - Lizzy contemplating the statues. I love they changed that from the book, it makes the shots there flow so effortlessly. - Darcy: So what do you recommend to encourage affection? Elizabeth: Dancing. Even if one's partner is barely tolerable. Walks away Darcy: visibly in love, visibly in pain x) - I... do not have the talent of conversing easily with people I have never met before. Fuck, he is so relatable. - Elizabeth: I'm very fond of walking. Mr. Darcy: Yes... yes I know. ;( - The entire movie
