Se7en

Starting 2026 with an absolute banger 💥— David Fincher’s ‘Se7en’ Seven is a movie I truly do not regret watching. It’s one I believe everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. If you’re a fan of movies that explore themes of morality then this movie is the one for you. The whole atmosphere of this movie is dark, unsettling, grimy and filled with greyscale undertones. It pulls you in for the entire ride. That adrenaline rush you get makes you feel like you’re working alongside both detectives, anticipating the ‘infamous’ John Doe’s next move. Another thing I really like about this movie is the contrast between the two detectives. Miller is impulsive and emotional, while Somerset is calm and collected. This contrast of emotions between them is what I feel gives this movie a lot of emotional depth.  The ending of this movie proves this even more and leaves you thinking whether it’s better to let the villain ‘win’ or not?
