Hamnet
“To live with our hearts open, to shut it not in the dark, but to turn it to the sun.”
An otherworldly look at inspiration, love, and parenthood. Sure, grief is a heavy theme as well, but central to Hamnet is the idea of inspiration and love. For you cannot grieve without loving first. The deep forest brings peace and calm. Death among nature isn’t scary, it’s cherished. The comparison between Mother-Nature and Agnes isn’t lost on me. But, I digress. Inspiration can come from everywhere. Art process all things; love, happiness, loss, and even profound sadness. It helps bring peace and understanding to all things.
