Vortex
thethis has to be the most subtle Gaspar Noe film that i've seen so far, this is literally a family friendly film coming from him?!?? like... wow.
the ending where it showed everything being left behind in their home gave me full existential crisis. why is it that when you die everything you know will be gone like you, those books, dvds, and papers all had their story to why they are there for a reason, and when you die no one will know the full story of it except you, even from a single pen, no one will know how it got to you unlike you do.
the meaning of the whole split screen story of this film is that it's trying to show us how literally everyone has their own different perspective of the world at a single moment and how it's unique to everyone, and that's sooo fascinating to me. there's always something that you would only see and know, and that's somehow good to know ;)
