Pulp Fiction

Seeing this on the big screen with another stunning 4K restoration was an absolute treat! Quentin Tarantino’s masterful directing and storytelling are just out of this world. His ability to weave interconnected stories with sharp dialogues and unpredictable twists is unmatched, keeping the audience engaged from start to finish. The performances are stellar across the board. Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta’s chemistry is magnetic, while Uma Thurman delivers an iconic, unforgettable turn. Bruce Willis brings depth and grit to his character, but Harvey Keitel as Wolf steals the show every time he’s on screen with his cool, commanding presence. Other “cameos” were also really fun. On this rewatch, I appreciated the humor more than ever. It isn’t just a crime drama, but also one of the funniest movies of all time, with moments of absurdity and sharp wit that never feel out of place. Combine that with a banger soundtrack, and you’ve got a film that doesn’t just hold up, it gets even better with time. 400th movie of the year!!
