Shutter Island

I’m still trying to process the masterpiece I just saw. Easily Leos best performance and that wasn’t easy with all his class performances. ( I haven’t seen every Leo film yet) from the beginning it had me hooked and I didn’t want to miss anything. I don’t think I ever felt so much tension during a whole movie. The score, just beautiful and terrifying at the same time. The acting! Not only from Leo, but Mark Ruffalo and Ben Kingsley. Michelle Williams was amazing as well. This is a movie that will never leave my mind. Top 5 of all time imo. Wolf of wall street was always my favorite movie, Shutter Island is another masterpiece. I definitely need to see other things from Scorsese. Just brilliant. That twist was the best twist I ever saw in my life and the ending where he just falls back to his state is heartbreaking tbh. I don’t think I’m going to see this movie again. Maybe when I’m older with my kids or something. I’m happy that I’ve seen it eventually, 11 years too late but we finally made it.  Best performances: Leonardo Dicaprio - Ben Kingsley - Mark Ruffalo My score: 9,4/10
