The Batman

The best Batman movie of all time.  I’m still processing what I just saw, but this is now my favorite Batman movie and favorite portrayal of the Batman. The fear, the darkness, the detective, this is how I’ve always pictured him. Robert Pattinson really did it. What an amazing actor. The acting was astonishing from everyone. Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon killed it. Paul Dano’s Riddler was terrifying, but so great. Zoë Kravitz gives the best Catwoman version to date, Can’t wait to see more of her. Colin Farrel as the Penguin was the cherry on the cake. Andy Serkis is another very good Alfred even with the screentime he was given. Matt Reeves is a genius. His work is art. The visuals, the directing, writing, the tension that he created. Everything was perfect. It was visually stunning. You could watch the movie without sound and you would be amazed.  Michael Giacchino outdid himself with his Batman score. It’s the best theme he made, even better than the Spider-Man theme. The score was as important as the story and visuals itself. It told a story as well.  This movie felt like the comics and the Arkham games brought to live. I’m so happy that I’m excited again for Dc. This movie reminded me why I love the DC comics so much!
