Punch-Drunk Love
holy fucking shit, now this is truly a gem.
Adam really went ham on this film, and i think he did way better than I originally expected. so, shout out to my boy adam.
(I don't think I could give a full honest opinion on how visually this movie is, because I watched a low quality rip and I feel like it would ruin the review.)
with that being said, I think the low quality rip gave it a more natural/low budge feel that you wouldn't expect to see in a well acted film. I think the editing was ok/good, but i think the spaced out bits was intentional to add character.
the colorful visuals that would occur felt a bit unnecessary to me, but during the scene where berry goes to Utah and meets the "supervisor" was kinda a cool look.
for whatever reason, the soundtrack to the movie struck out to me. like it felt perfect, nothing felt out of place. and I wouldn't mind listening to it on my own personal time.
overall, this movie surprised me. (in a good way of course) if you're trying to binge watch "good" Adam Sandler flicks, this is the one to watch.
also, hmu barry if you need help with the pudding.
