One of the most compelling and challenging films I've ever seen. A narrative masterpiece, A Separation touches on such social matters that hit way too close to reality. The way Asghar Farhadi leaves you guessing with every drop of new information, the way he brings up social topics such as family, marriage, caring for senile parents, protecting your dignity, dealing with the consequences of your own actions, and more, and the way the actors masterfully portray their roles, make up for one of the best drama films ever made.
