Control

I have probably seen this film upwards of 50 times as I used to watch it every night before bed, even now I know like all the lines and soundtrack. I am a Joy Division cult member Things I've done because of Ian Curtis/Joy Division:> Read all of the band members, Tony Wilson and Deborah Curtis' biographies Started listening to Iggy Pop, the velvet underground, new order Watched films/TV shows because they had Joy Division in the soundtrack Read multiple JG Ballard books, also the Naked Lunch by Burroughs Gone to Ian Curtis' grave + house I have Unknown Pleasures everything; at least 5 T-shirts, a coat, Dr Martens boots, a dressing gown Wrote 31G on my bedroom wall in Sharpie (which is what the fuck cos that's literally Hess' POW number) Have multiple Joy Division coffee table books Dove deep into factory records world Got depressed 😔
