"What was I trying to save? our experiences together? is that all I love about him?" Emma and Jude are so important to me, How madly they were in love. Emma just wanted to keep her husband. and she lost everything in the process. including herself. The way the ending pulls back around to the beginning, broke me. how many times did they meet before? how many more times will they continue to meet again for the first time? How many more times did Jude tell her, that she was the one that he was grateful he got to know her. even just for a little bit. I apologize if this makes no sense I am hysterical, and spent the last 10 minutes staring at the credits of this film. "shit, i dont have a ring" "buy me a fish.."
