The way Carol brings color into Therese life 😍 The way Richard calls her Terry as a pet name even though it has the same syllables as Therese just to dull her down to his level 🤮 The way Therese says yes to Carols invitations with such bright eyes and clarity 😍 The way men always interrupt them at crucial moments where key things have just been said 🤮 The way Therese never knows what to say but Carol is always there to help her get to where she wants to be 😍 The way Harge wants to hold Carol prisoner and even goes as far as to call her “his responsibility” as if he is getting responsibility and property confused 🤮 The way that every characters wardrobe fits so perfectly into the tapestry surrounding them 😍 This is now probably the 7th-8th time I’ve seen this movie, no joke. It is simply a masterpiece.
