First time in a theatre… so many young people who hadn’t seen the movie in there, it was really fun to hear gasps during some of the scares and twists. As I get older and continue to deepen my movie love, there are some movies and directors that I once loved as a kid that just no longer resonate with me. David Fincher is not one of those directors. I still absolutely adore his movies the same as I did when I was younger (obsessed.) This movie used to be my locked in favorite. Now The Soc Net, Zodiac, the killer and gone girl are all above this one and yet it’s still a 5/5 masterpiece.
