OH PURRRR I just absolutely adore movies like this so so so so so much! There’s something so fun and nostalgic about watching an older woman play a teenager, it’s like this wild mix of innocence and experience that just works so well on screen. Honestly, it’s such a vibe, and the way they pull it off here is just flawless. The storyline was super cute too, with a really nice message underneath all the laughs and chaos, which makes it more than just a silly teen comedy.
And can we talk about Lindsay Lohan for a second? Girl, she is literally every lesbian’s dream come to life in this movie. Like, how does she make it look so effortless. The sass, the charm, the whole energy, just chef’s kiss. I was absolutely obsessed the entire time she was on screen. This movie is one of those rare gems that balances humor, heart, and just a little bit of magic perfectly. Honestly, Freaky Friday will forever be a classic in my heart, and every time I watch it, I get those warm, nostalgic feels mixed with pure joy. Love love love it!
