By far his best work. Everything comes together like a jigsaw falling into place. The dialogue is impecable and Samuel L. Jackson is glorious in the best performance of his lengthy career.
Oh how I love to see some black people kill white people. Very violent, but sometimes in a fun and cartoonish way. Balanced very well with the brutally realistic violence of slavery. Leonardo Dicaprio gives an outstanding performance in this one. Tarantino put himself into a film about slavery yet didn't say the n word? wtf?
Fun WWII film. So many unique personalities amongst the roster of characters, with Christoph Waltz of course being a highlight. There is some great tension in this film, especially at the beginning and in the bar scene.
One of the best debut films I have ever seen. The dialogue is very much in line with what comes later in his career and I found myself enthralled throughout the entire runtime. This is perhaps my favourite way in which Tarantino executes the non linear storytelling.
Maybe his funniest work, especially the third act. However, I have found myself to have grown bored of it upon rewatches, mainly the first act. It is a bit long and boring in parts, but it still ain't bad. I wish it had more Margot Robbie and less feet (yuck).
Bro just remade Reservoir Dogs but in a western setting. WTF is it three hours long? Its good, but drags in parts. Its nice to see Samuel L Jackson in a lead role. Kinda hard to take Channing Tatum seriously tho. Some nice tension created throughout, but the employment of Ennio Morricone as the composer was underused, when he could have amplified the quality of the film to quite an extent.
Not a very deep film, but an entertaining one. Very cartoonish in its violence. The whole appeal of this is the fight scenes, so it delivers on that. I find it to be lacking in originality though, with it seeming to be a blatant ripoff of Lady Snowblood, which is much better. Uma Thurman is good tho
Way more boring than volume 1. Some parts just drag on for way too long without adding enough to the main story. I did really like the dialogue between the Bride and Bill near the end, but it finishes on what I think is a rather goofy way to conclude such a lengthy story.
I don't like feet in any capacity, so I resent certain moments in this. He isn't even trying to hide that disgusting foot fetish of his. This movie is quite a bore. In between the two admittedly entertaining action scenes, the dialogue (although well written) drags on and serves little perpose to the rest of the film. Huge respect to Zoe Bell for her stuntwork though
