Sinners

*amc fan favorite showing / post oscars announcement * okay watching this on the big screen completely altered my brain chemistry. PLEASE RYAN COOGLER FORGIVE ME 🤲 for real tho, everything hit deeper watching in the correct format.  the dancing scene?? COME ON THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL. while surface level this is a horror movie, coogler really made this as a love letter to black history and culture and how deeply rooted it is in america.  after my second watch around, i also noticed how possibly each character almost represented a different type of sin possibly? i’m not sure if that is fully the case but that’s at least what i noticed at least. either way, THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO SUPPORT MOVIE THEATERS AND KEEP THEM IN BUSINESS!
