Barbie

i honestly don’t know if men will understand this movie, and i mean that will full truth. (a man asked his daughters a few seats down if it was over yet in the middle of the movie and sighed)  America’s speech completely blew me away, i had tears and actually felt seen because most women’s monologue is from a man’s pov but since this was from Greta Gerwig it was perfect. i have so much to say honestly which i didn’t think was going to happen, i didn’t really play with barbie’s as a kid but this still hit me. also going to add during barbie’s crisis and showing depressed barbie’s, the pride n prejudice re-run joke WAS NOT FUNNY (when i was depressed w terrible anxiety all i did was watch pride n prejudice)
