Apocalypse Now
Wow I’ve seen a lot of Coppolas work but this is by far my favorite. So dark “the horror, the horror” Brando’s Kurtz is a very interesting character despite the little screen time he has. The build up payed off toward the end and the psychological and philosophical aspect of this movie is great. I would argue coppolas best. I see this as less a war film and more a thriller. Martin sheens performance is so captivating. And every shot of this movie is so beautiful the cinematography is stellar. One of my new favorites
