Shin Godzilla

So I watched an American 4k re release screening of this at my local theater and wow. To be honest I just expected a Godzilla movie but I didn’t expect a layered political drama critiquing the inadequacies of bureaucracy and how governments fail to support the public in times of need. And wow the cinematography of this movie is amazing I was really surprised  by that a lot of unique and experimental shots that I liked and I liked the colors a lot. The characters were also very interesting and the movie did get a bit cliche at times but it worked for the semi satirical nature of the movie.  I really liked this a lot and it even reminded me a bit of Akira with like the nuclear body horror for political message element. And this version of Godzilla was just so scary and unique n interesting and I loved the military sequences
