Malignant

He became a lost memory, buried deep in the back of my head, until now. The second watch of this totally changes your perception of this movie. Every other line in the script is a tongue-in-cheek goof on the audience! All my problems with this on first watch are basically gone, this is one of the funniest horror movies since Evil Dead 2. Akela Cooper can write, and Wan's direction, which previously I thought was overly CGI and a bit too flamboyant (?), actually comes across now to me as a showcase of his ability to stage wild scenes and build tension. A+ flick. If you haven't seen this, go watch it! Directed by James Wan, Ranked!
