Coraline

''You probably think this world is a dream come true. But you're wrong.'' Coraline is a truly stunning piece of art. I have a deep respect for stop-motion movies because they take an incredible amount of time, effort, and passion to create and that’s exactly what makes them so beautiful. Coraline is no exception. The movie follows Coraline Jones as she embarks on a mysterious journey within her own house, where she encounters an ancient threat that has haunted generations before her. The story is told beautifully, with memorable characters, fascinating lore, and countless hidden details and Easter eggs scattered throughout the film. Everything feels carefully crafted and incredibly well thought out. Coraline is an absolute must-see, and I’m so glad I rewatched it after about ten years and got to experience that same joy again while witnessing such immaculate artistry.
