It Chapter Two
''You know what they say about Derry. No one who dies here ever really dies.''
I’m now finally done with all the IT media, and I loved it.
I always saw very mixed and mediocre reviews of It Chapter Two, but I was pleasantly surprised. The movie was long, but I honestly didn’t feel that at all. I loved the lore bits about It and that Andy Muschietti really builds on what Stephen King gave him.
Also, Bill Skarsgård is so amazing, and his version of Pennywise might be my favorite horror entity ever. He is such an incredible actor in general that I became a fan of his very quickly.
The other actors were also really well cast, and especially the older versions of Richie and Eddie looked so much like their younger counterparts. Their acting was very good too. I really liked Richie’s feelings for Eddie and genuinely felt sad for Richie by the end.
All in all, the movie really surprised me with how much I enjoyed it and how invested I became. I’m really excited for Welcome to Derry Season 2 and the supercuts of Chapters One and Two that I’ve heard about.
