Nosferatu

''We are here encountering the undead plague carrier, the Vampyr, Nosferatu!'' In my opinion, this is the vampire movie. From the acting to the cinematography, I love everything about it. This movie has such a perfect cast. Willem Dafoe, Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, and the impeccable Bill Skarsgård. Bill didn’t just play the vampire Count Orlok he became him. His voice was perfect and incredibly impressive. His appearance was terrifying and so well done, just like everything else in this movie. I also loved how the mythology surrounding Nosferatu was portrayed. The way people feared the myth, and the things they did to protect themselves and others, felt very authentic. You can really tell that Robert Eggers did his homework and studied vampire folklore, and that it truly mattered to him. This is the best iteration of Nosferatu, and if you like vampire stories, definitely check this movie out.
