Scooby-Doo
*"Who's your best buddy?"
"Raggy."
"That's right. And who's my best buddy in the whole wide world?"
"Rooby Doo."*
This is just one of my comfort movies, and now that I finally own the DVD, I decided to rewatch it after quite some time.
This is definitely the better of the two movies, at least from what I remember. It’s just pure nostalgia for me and one of my biggest comfort movies. I’ve loved Scooby-Doo ever since I was a little kid and basically grew up with it. I especially love Shaggy, and the fact that he’s portrayed by the great, the awesome, the amazing Matthew Lillard. He’s one of my favorite actors simply because I adore him as a person and I’m always happy whenever I see him in anything.
Apart from that, the movie is just goofy fun. You have all the classic Scooby-Doo stuff, and it feels like the old cartoons where the gang travels to a new place and solves a mystery. That’s exactly what I love so much about Scooby-Doo.
The vibes of this movie are also perfect. The spooky Hawaiian atmosphere is something I can’t help but absolutely love.
Overall, this is just one of my comfort movies, with a great atmosphere and Matthew Lillard, my comfort actor.
