Ninja Scroll

This is so simple but extremely effective for whatever reason. This reminds me alot of Phantom Blood since its enemy after enemy order with strategic battles and the ending with a burning ship. The style/animation is incredible for the time and one my favorite details is that every demon doesn't die the same way except for Zakuro and Yurimaru who had conflicted each other the entire movie so maybe them dying the same way was a parallel. The gore ties every kill nicely together since nobody gets a boring death. Pacing isnt issue but my only issue is that Kagero is overly sexualized the entire movie, doesnt add anything to plot either its just there. Overall I really enjoyed the movie but they gotta chill out with the rape in this movie.
