The Thing

Highly anticipated watching this and it had a great payoff. Obviously the highlight of this movie is the amazing practical effects, which still holds up to this day. The suspense helps with the slower pacing compared to other horror movies. I wish there were more thing scenes but what was present is enough to satisfy. The blood test scene was definitely my favorite thing transformation out of the whole movie. Wasnt suprised with the how it ended due to there not really being a better way to go about it. I havent seen all of John Carpenters movies but when I do, I wouldnt be suprised if this is still my number one.
