there’s a point in your life when you get older but you’re still young, and realize everyone has there own problems and you won’t be able to forever count on anyone except yourself. this movie hits me like a truck, and not in the sobby, crying way, rather in a euthanizing perspective on everything I’ve known kinda way. Growing up sucks, but keeping a grasp on what used to be beautiful and memorable is even harder. What used to give a sense of purpose eventually turns devoid and a youll miss it in the blink of an eye. Kinda like trends, they come and go, probably pointless in the first place. I think that’s whats most difficult.. For Rusty James it was gangs, seemingly all he knew at seventeen. But those times run out eventually.
