First Reformed

the perfect movie to watch after taking a pretty long break of really watching movies. the longer i go without watching movies the more i question their place in my life and what they mean to me, and this movie reminds me of why their so important to me. the pacing, editing, cinematography, use of sound, and everything else is done with perfection. to make something like this is so incredibly special and ground breaking. i always forget how amazing it is to be transported into different worlds for a few hours and fully engulfed into a movie. the stress of life is so easily forgotten when watching a good movie.  movies have always been there for me when no one else was. what a special form of art!
