felt compelled to rewatch this again after experiencing the prologue for part 3
there’s truly nothing like it. everything about the scale captured in this film is a technical marvel and the score still hits like crack. the world building is so fucking good. it’s so thematically rich and sets the stage for the epic payoff that is part 2, but also works so well as its own contained political thriller with deep conspiracies to unravel. perfect movie. i love dune :)
rebecca ferguson’s performance in these movies is not talked about enough. she’s incredible. that’s mother
