Sentimental Value

i could write pages and pages about why this film works so well, but it really boils down to the combination of my favorite ensemble of the year with my favorite screenplay of the year. it actually gets better and better with each rewatch. still in awe every time. :’) i love sentimental value. the nine (!!!!!!) oscar nominations are so deserved <3
