Dekalog

Been watching this more or less one episode a day so far in December, and that's probably the perfect time to watch Dekalog. Wow, what an experience. It's clichéd to say, but this is one of those projects that really roundly captures the human experience, in an equally religious and non-religious fashion. There are definitely lesser episodes here that are still good, but when this show hits, it fucking hits. Definitely worth rewatching at some point, whether to pick up on more of the symbolism, the subtle connections between episodes, and just generally to dive and get a deeper understanding of each episodes themes and humanity. Also, this is just so gorgeous to look at. As I said, perfect watch in the dead of winter.
