Blue Gate Crossing
there must be something left. what’s left is what makes us grown-ups.
growing up is scary. one thing i’ve realized is that change will always happen once we grow up. this is very obvious but that’s something we always avoid don’t we? change.
i think i like girls. that’s why i’ll never love you. i thought that if i managed to kiss a boy, i wouldn’t be one..
i feel like kerou had a hard time realizing and finally admitting what she truly felt because of the “change” that might happen. but change and growing up is something we can’t avoid, right? i’m very proud of her for voicing out how she truly feels and how she accepted herself. i also love how there was someone like shihao who understood her feeling and who was just there to love her. i believe all first love is beautiful but i also believe that it can be painful. but the thing about first love is that it helps us grow and change into the people we are today.
this was a very beautiful story about love, sexuality, and friendship <3
