PSIFF SCREENING #18 “little boys don’t just fall from the sky.” rewatch for family day at the palm springs international film festival! despite the kids crying or screaming every once in a while during the screening, the film was just as emotional and beautiful as before. the score specifically stood out to me on this viewing and the more impactful moments were elevated significantly by the orchestral music. i also noticed little details in the animation early in the film that i didn’t notice before and it made the rewatch even more entertaining. truly one of the year’s best animated films and i am so glad i got to experience again with my girlfriend!
