the distance she creates from people, especially men, and her lack of intimacy builds an illusion that keeps telling her how she should survive until it consumes her,she becomes dangerous , and what starts as fear turns into reality simply because she never stops feeding it. a really strong film and catherine deneuves presence makes it even stronger , shes just unreal.
