Finding Nemo
a movie i saw many times when i was little but didn't remember much, i decide to rewatch it, best decision i ever made.
to say that it teaches many things and that it is still extremely contemporary today is an understatement.
the characters are all unforgettable: Nemo's classmates and their parents, Nemo's teacher, the sharks, the turtles, the pelicans and the seagulls (which say only one word repeated several times, but you will remember them), Nemo's friends in the aquarium etc..
this is a movie that simply works, and does everything in the best possible way. imagine telling the story of a single father who has lost everything but all he has left is his son, he's too afraid to let him grow up and let something happen to him, a very poignant concept (especially the beginning of the film) I remember that I was left speechless, not traumatized, but curious and amazed: now I knew a new family reality and I could understand how fathers (or parents in general) feel.
finding nemo is very dear to me, thanks pixar for making me cry
