Pixar really got us all out here getting emotional over fish. Yeah, this is an absolute icon of my childhood right here, one of my all time favorite Pixar films. It’s one of those films that all ages can enjoy. It’s charming, funny, highly quotable, and just an overall solid story. I think one of the most underrated and best parts of the film is the score though, the music it has was really solid. The movie also looks great, the animation is very good especially when they are in the reef. On the note of animation, I noticed this small detail but with the fish that do impressions, you’ll see them cut into each other all the time like the animators didn’t separate them enough, small pet peeve but didn’t really ruin the any of the movie. I also wish some of the side characters stayed around a bit longer, wish we got to know Bruce and buddies and crush just a little bit more. I’m nitpicking though, it’s a great film, will rewatch.
