Backrooms
as someone who’s been obsessed with backrooms lore for years, i liked that this didn’t try to explain every single level or entity. it actually felt like the original creepypasta instead of turning it into some monster movie. the liminal spaces, the camera work, and the feeling that you’re somewhere you absolutely should not be was perfect. i know some people wanted more action but the whole point of the backrooms is that the emptiness is what’s terrifying. if you’ve never spent 3 hours reading reddit pages about backrooms at 2 a.m. you probably won’t get why this was so good.
