Aftersunevitkam10.0· November 14, 2025FollowI chose this films as a topic for my upcoming english exam. because I knew that I can talk non stop about it, and also rewatch it a hundred times and never get tired of it. this is my first time rewatching it since july and once again I’m in tears, actually sobbing worse than before.it got even better now that I looked at things that I didn’t notice earlier.the first time my focus was more on sophie’s story, and her perspective. so I wouldn’t say that it was really sad. not happy either, it was something else, something really special. I mean the end effected her too so I of coarse cried but this time……this time I followed the father’s storyline more, and it was devastating. every scene where he was shown empty and depressed was so quiet but expressed what words couldn’t.
