Before Midnight

I don't like watching mum and dad fight :( Linklater really knows how to write real people. Like more than people know how people work. He knows exactly when to cut and what to leave in, he truly is a treasure. Also, how has Julie Delpy not aged in 20 years?? Probably the best depiction of a modern relationship ever put to cinema. I love all the conversations, like these movies are just compilations of conversations over one night and they're enthralling. Why can't people talk like this, it's always "what celebrity is having a baby" or "which kind of friend not really was a bit of a bitch the other week". People should have actual conversations and insightful discussions and want to know about each other. Rant over. Ethan Hawke is a gem. Linklater is an amazing writer. Delpy hasn't aged ever. And I just watched a 5 hour long love story and loved every second. (Except maybe the sad parts, I just want everyone to be happy).
