Before Sunset
This movie is the definition of a 5/5. If this is not a 5/5 for you then idk what you want. It's a short 80 min movie but every scene is packed with the most beautiful piece of dialogue or acting i have ever seen. Ethan hawke is genuinely my top 3 favourite actor of all time.
This movie follows up the already perfect film "BEFORE SUNRISE" but somehow tops that movie too. I could just quote 5 lines from this movie into this review and i won't have to say another word to justify the 5/5 rating.
My favourite piece of dialogue in the whole trilogy is when Celine says
"I guess, when you're young, you just believe there'll be many people with whom you'll connect with. And Later in life, you realize it only happens a few times."
Like this line is real as fuckkkk and I'm realizing it more and more as I grow older. Can't believe how it's gonna hit when I am 30 or something 😭.
Plus it probably has my favourite ending scene in all of cinema
Celine: "Baby, you are gonna miss that plane,"
>
Jesse: "I know..."
Uggghhhh its sooooo gooooddd, it hurts
