The Fly

A metaphor for drug abuse, a metaphor for terminal illness, a metaphor for the aging process, a deconstruction of 50s b movies, a deconstruction of superhero/villain origins stories, a cronenberg body horror classic, a gripping tragedy, a masterpiece for the ages. David Cronenberg's the fly is about as emotionally crushing & horrifyingly scary as movies come, you'll be upset, you'll be disgusted, you'll be afraid, you'll be very afraid.
