Sentimental Value

Joachim Trier, please listen to me now: NEVER EVER stop working with Renate Reinsve. What an actor-director duo, phenomenal. Renate Reinsve is definitely one of the best actresses working right now, what a performance. And what a performance by Stellan Skarsgard too, so beautiful, so vulnerable. I absolutely adore this cast, everyone delivered so well. This film definitely has kind of a different approach than The Worst Person in the World; I think it's much more meditative in a way. I just love how Joachim Trier depicts life, he understands how to portray it in a pure and sensitive way, which few others can in my opinion. I hope this wins a few awards, for me, it's an instant all-timer, just like The Worst Person in the World.
