I'm taking such good care of my little white boys.I came here to watch Zendaya be hot af. Why the fuck are these guys practically sucking each other's dicks? But anyways, LET'S FUCKING GO! Guadagnino's biggest achievement yet. I think I prefer this to Suspiria, 'cause holy fuck, this was so fucking good. Thank god I managed to go and watch this alone instead of with my parents, 'cause that would be REALLY awkward. It was nice watching it alone with my thoughts. Although, I think the couple behind me was getting a little too turned on watching this movie. They started kissing, and I think maybe even fucking. This is the movie of the year for me. Zendaya be collecting these white boys and got a 2-for-1 deal in here. Again in this movie, you really feel Guadagnino's style with those dramatic zooms and shit. But man, what was it with all the asses and the dicks? Why did it feel like Art and Patrick wanted to fuck each other? There were some really weird vibes between them. It felt like they were about to fuck. That was weird.
First off, like in every Luca movie I watch, the cinematography was so cool. Lots of amazing one-takes actually made me enjoy watching sports, and I hate sports. But this is the best way a sport has ever been filmed. Football matches like this, and I'll be watching them every day. The matches looked so cool, the POV of them and the ball, the low shots, the high shots, the variety of angles. This was filmed Zendaya being Tashi, and her expressions in this were so cool. So many other scenes too, there were a lot of beautifully filmed ones. I don't know who the cinematographer is in this, but give them more roles and shit. The style this movie had, combined with its amazing soundtrack, kind of reminded me of Saltburn. But the techno shit in this, everything was so stylish. It felt like that "I LUV IT" song by Charlie XCX. It felt like it was a dance in a club from how cool everything looked and from how cool everything sounded i cant describe just how much i fucking adores this and i want to rewatch it so so badly but im broke it hurts honestly.
And then the acting in this was just so good, there are no more words to describe it other than really good. Zendaya was good as Chani, but that role wasn't really complex. However, as Tashi, she demolished everyone's hopes of an Oscar. Give her an Oscar! Zendaya was so good in this love triangle that she actually helped me like a love triangle movie. She plays the emotional scenes well, but also the professional scenes. She seems like a great tennis player and looks amazing while doing it. Seriously, she's a bombshell in this. She knows how to mix both parts and also seems like a great mom. I was rooting for Art because Patrick is a jerk, and Tashi is simply better with Art. But honestly, I wouldn't mind if Tashi ended up alone. She seems and looks like a very professional tennis player. I felt so bad for her when she had that injury. Zendaya portrays a lot of emotions in this and masters everything perfectly. Art and patrick were really good altough they felt more like fuck budies than bestfriends.
The movie was also really fun for the reasons I mentioned in the second paragraph. The two hours flew by easily, and I don't regret watching it on the big screen. It was an amazing experience, honestly even better than Dune, but this may be due to recency bias. It was such a satisfying watch and seems so rewatchable. If I wasn't saving money to watch other movies, I would watch it again. The story wasn't slow in my opinion, and even if it was, who gives a shit? You had that kick-ass score to distract you. My only disappointment is that it didn't make me excited when Zendaya appeared. But to be honest, that's just because there were so many random dicks and man asses; it felt weird and kinda funny. (I just looked it up, and I found out Lucas is gay.) But come on, man, even if you are, JUST GIVE US ZENDAYA. Or the tennis scene. I'm trying to see some balls swinging around, and I don't mean Patrick Swayze's ones. But Zendaya, I'll say it again, was really hot in this. Her applying cream on herself and in that mini skirt—damn, Tom Holland is so fucking lucky.
Overall movie of the year for me and it will be so hard to top this. Maybe I might be suffering from recency bias because I love going to the cinema, but still, it's a great achievement. A ball of fun with style, such an entertaining hyper score, with such perfect, beautiful cinematography where you can see Guadagnino's influence. Everyone's acting was amazing in this. A little bit too much focus on the male characters; I expected more Zendaya than those dudes, but screw it, this was amazing.
