GoodFellas
this is one of the few classic movies that i can confidently say is perfectly paced. the acting is fantastic, joe pesci and robert de Niro are such delightful little bitches. ray liotta has one of the ugliest and most infectious laughs in cinema history. the ending is such an anti-climatic slap in the face that it's the perfect punchline to henry hill's character. in fact, the whole movie is fucking hilarious. i watched it for the first time, and i already want to watch it again. narrations are usually kinda awful, but here it's perfect. also Scorsese was really cooking with the music.
yeah this is basically perfect.
