sometimes when i watch a movie, my mum watches along. often from afar completing household chores, or while she's using her phone. This movie is the first time my mum sat down on the sofa next to me, without a phone anywhere near her, to watch a movie. the kettle was boiling towards the end of the movie, but none of us wanted to turn it off. that's how thrilling, captivating and powerful this movie is. Especially love the message in this one. Brandon and Phillips are obviously monsters, but Rupert bears responsibility too, which is why the three of them are damned at the end. Dangerous ideas may just be words, but they wield power to destroy lives as well. Always be mindful of the things you say, even as a joke.
