Spotlight

Honestly I really don’t have the words to describe how emotional I felt while watching this. Though not exactly a groundbreaking auteur-driven piece of cinema, Spotlight is a film that manages to be both engaging and respectful with its subject matter, while also having of a plethora of spectacular performances and a tight-knit ingenious screenplay running it’s core.
