Jaws
I intend for this to be a 4th July watch despite being British but you know what they say about best laid plans, anyway I chucked this on in work tonight and while it was sadly more of a background watch tonight I’ve seen this film so much over the years (this is my 3rd viewing in just over a year) I could probably watch it with my eyes closed,
51 years later and it still holds up with a legacy that will probably outlive us all, even my younger cousins adore this film, infact I think 99.9% of my family would say this is there favourite film, and there’s good reason for that, a tension based horror/thriller and the main attraction isn’t even the best part, it’s those little character moments and strong dialogue/world building (that scene of them all on the boat while Quint describes the sinking of the USS INDIANAPOLIS might be my favourite scene of all time, it’s definitely a top 5) is what keeps me coming back
