Amy
A beautiful, raw portrayal of the life of Amy and her tragic end. Instead of the shitty groomer made film from last year, this one focuses deep on her as a real person which contrasted from the public eye at the time as they saw her as an object for entertainment. From the get go you can already tell she was never ready for the mass to love her she had a one in a million talent and imo we never deserved to hear it. How people treat her during her times of struggle press, public even her fake ass bf and father is disgusting. The way throughout the footage of this film she gradually wears down is actually one of the most disturbing things to watch. If only she had the right support. She was one of the best jazz singers to ever live and she was such a good soul it really is heartbreaking.
I'm not glazing but I am because it's so deserved.
