Obsession

a perfect horror movie. every man in this film made me ashamed of my own gender. they were actually so evil the cat foreshadowing his death and also the way he wants to take control of Nikki is genuinely brilliant. The meaning behind this film is presented so beautifully while also being very simple to understand. I was so interest by how showing the contrast between romantic tender scenes and horrifying scenes we could see Bear’s perspective/moral justification of his wrongs in a sinister way. it also raised the tension and suspense immensely. it was so heartbreaking but also very endearing with an incredibly satisfying ending. every performance in this film amazed me. Inde deserves to be booked and busy until the foreseeable, every scene she was in left me mesmerised.  the jumpscares were actually scary and not cheap/predictable. it nailed the horror aspects perfectly while also balancing comedy and in a sick sick way also romance. I can see no faults from the initial watch, I loved this so much
